Spring Garden, a neighborhood in Downtown Miami, significant architecturally for its wealth of early Frame and Masonry Vernacular, Mission, Bungalow, and Moderne style houses that reflect the diversity and evolution of architectural design in South Florida during the early twentieth century .
The Hindu Temple is architecturally significant because it is one of the most unique houses in Miami. Designed in 1920 by August Geiger, a prominent local architect, the building was inspired by the set of a movie filmed on the site, and its design mixes classical and Middle Eastern influences.

Once located at 613 NW 7th Street Rd. The Seybold Canal House was the first structure built in Spring Garden by developer John Seybold in 1915.
